Abiding Savior is a loving and caring people of God committed to a serving ministry that educates, strengthens relationships and inspires young and old alike to reach out with the saving gospel of Jesus Christ. We call ourselves Abiding Savior because our Savior, Jesus Christ, God's Son, loves us and promises to abide with us always as we carry out His mission.
(Matthew, 28: 18-20)

There are many fun and exciting groups that meet at Abiding Savior or at members' homes. Everyone is welcome.

Mission Trips

ASLC participates in mission trips a part of our outreach program (aslcmissions.blogspot.com). In past years we have taught Vacation Bible School in the Bahamas and, in conjunction with the Central American Lutheran Mission Society (CALMS, www.calms.org), helped build a house for a mother of 2 small boys, taught Vacation Bible School for 100 children, and shared a manicure ministry with the local women in Zacapa, Guatemala.

In 2011 we worked with Lutheran Disaster Response to repair homes damaged by floods in Nashville, TN and the following year we worked with Lutheran Ministries of Alabama in the recovery and rebuilding effort following the devastating tornado that struck Clay, AL in January.

We also have been working with Rebuilding Together North Central Florida doing home repairs and projects right here in our own community. If you are interested in participating in a mission trip, please contact the church.
